Arctic Star

Arctic Star roll-out icing offers the confectioner the ideal icing for novelty cakes, birthday cakes, Christmas cakes and gateaux.  Special occasions such as wedding and christening cakes can be decorated in modern styles and techniques.  It is an easy to roll out sugar paste developed as an alternative to Royal icing and gives the confectioner greater scope, using cutters and tools easily available - the only limit is imagination.  Arctic Star can be used straight from the box, it sets firm yet cuts clean without cracking and has a smooth texture and flavour.

Preparation

  • To obtain full pliability of product, knead/mix slightly before use.
  • Always dust with icing sugar.
  • Use Royal Icing, neutral jelly or Alcohol to obtain adhesion to marzipan.

  • Coating and decoration of Celebration cakes.
  • Quick finish gateaux.
  • Advance preparation of cake decorations.
  • Ideal for flower making.
  • Perfect for frill work and Broderie Anglaise.
  • Ideal for embossing, crimping, moulding and stamping.

Technical Information

  • Always re-seal in polythene liner.
  • Avoid contamination with crumbs or flour.
  • Store cool and dry avoiding extremes of temperature.
  • Shelf life 6 months.
  • Pack size: 5kg or 10kg carton.
