Ready To Use Icing Glaze

Flemings produce a wide range of quality Fondants suitable for a diversity of applications in the bakery and confectionery industry.  Ready-to-use fondant is a top quality icing glaze designed generally to be used straight from the pail without further preparation, yet obtaining all the benefits of block fondant.  Applications may be for either flour or sugar confectionery.  Colours and flavours may still be added to the RTU fondant to increase versatility of application.

Preparation

  • For best results, heat to 35-40C.
  • Depending on storage temperature, may be utilised straight from the container if stored at 25-30C
  • Further dilution with water/syrup is not normally required but for glazing may be reduced further if required.

Technical Information

  • Store cool and dry avoiding extremes of temperature.
  • Shelf life; 6 months in good storage containers.
  • Keep container closed after use.
  • To avoid crystallisation, keep inside of container scraped down.
  • Pack size: 15kg.
